Relevant Experience

Brenda has served as the Director of Information Technology for a large foodservice management company and held IT management positions for several leading foodservice companies. She has managed the support and maintenance operations for a 34 unit foodservice chain and has been responsible for the system planning and implementation of systems in companies with as many as 1,000 units. She was awarded the Technology Innovation Award in 2002 by Nation's Restaurant News Magazine and the QSR Project Excellence Award in 2003 by MUR Technology. Brenda is a past Chairman of the National Restaurant Association's MIS Executive Study Group and an Advisory Board Member for Hospitality Technology Magazine.

Professional Background

Brenda has worked for such companies as Denny's/El Pollo Loco, Taco Bell, Sizzler International, and Great Circle Management Company, which is a franchisee of Krispy Kreme Donuts and Noodles & Company. Her responsibilities have included Director of IT, Manager of Store Systems, and Senior Project Leader. She has managed applications and systems such as point of sale, telecommunications, and financial/back office. Brenda has consulted with companies such as Diedrich Coffee, Gloria Jeans, Peets Coffee and Tea, SDCR, Sizzler International, Wolfgang Puck and Great Circle Family Foods, LLC.
