John brings 30 years of foodservice, technology, Internet, and retail experience to Accuvia Consulting. His background includes work for restaurant companies, consulting firms, hospitality system providers, and movie companies and has experience in ERP, Financial, Data Warehouse, software development, system strategy and planning, call center operations, training, systems support, business process improvement, process engineering, comprehensive field level and above store systems, and business best practices and standards.
Professional Background
Prior to joining Accuvia Consulting, John was the Director of Corporate Systems for AMC Theatres where he also served in the role of Director of Theatre Systems. John served as Director of IT and Client Services for iProperty.com, an Internet provider for the Real Estate industry. He has also served as Director of Major Accounts Sales Support and Product Solutions for MICROS Systems, Inc. John’s experience in foodservice includes positions as Manager of Information Systems for TGI Friday’s, Inc., Manager of Restaurant Systems for a 100 restaurant organization, and in the roles of Director of Restaurant Systems and Director of Operations Support for Applebee’s International, Inc.
Unit Operations Experience
John worked seven years in restaurant operations for Steak and Ale, Marie Calendars and TGI Friday’s, serving in all front and back of house positions as well as management.
Prior to entering the restaurant industry, John worked for six years in the family grocery business.
